This is very nice.. very bright and simple layout. I thknk the undulating wall behind the tank actually adds to the mode of the setup. Good Job.

thanks Nicky for the comment. The undulating wall was not intended, and i thought of changing background but after the picture was taken, i kind of like it![]()

Nice scape, I find the angel and saes too big for this scape, need some trimmings and try a black background, I think that would give the scape some depth.
...I love rubies too ...

i like the rock and the placement of it, really makes it so stand out

Have not seen a better local scape than this one. Good job.
i like the haphazard-ness of the plants in the background.. that look is not easily acheived... when done badly.. it really looks ugly..
Well done..
The last rock on the right jumps out a little too much.

At first glance, i thought i saw a dead dinosaur's head fossil on the right corner..ah..just a plain rock with holes..nice tank man!![]()

Thanks for all the kind comments and in particular, eddyq, i am sure there are many other local aquascape and layouts better than my tank. We are all just learning to do a better job...Originally Posted by eddyq
ranmasatome, you definitely have sharp eyes. The right rock was a new replacement rock while the original one was undergoing bleaching due to backening. Yes, i agree it is slightly bigger and whiter for my liking. I have since placed the treated rock back and i hope overall, the layout is now easier for the eyes:--

Hi Maurice,
An interesting aquascape. I do agree that some of the fauna are too big for this setup. Otherwise, I like the refeshing open feel.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
didnt see this teh last time.. since your SAE was blocking it..
is it possible to do something about taht entire row of rocks sitting in front? its seems too "regualr".. and planned..
the row of small stones are to block the hair glass and E. tenellus from creeping into the bare foreground. Will find suitable small stones.Originally Posted by ranmasatome

Very nice focal pointPity about the large fishes though!

nice scape!
may i ask where did you get your rocks from. thanks
The big rock was bought from Gratiola 2 years ago. I really like this rock as it is unique and has the shape of a knife. Interestingly, it leans to an angle.Originally Posted by fishbonez
