    Thank you for your comments.
Mainly spiky moss on the forground, sides and driftwood,
small amount of taiwan moss on the left and some Jave ferns on the DW as well. Some other plants dun know name on the left with red tips.

Temp is 27degress and 13 watts light running for 12 hrs.
Fert regime is Seachem floursh x 3 times weekly 1/2 capful.
No Co2.Running on Eden 501.( found some shrimplets in the canister filter just now, wonder if they will survive)

Upgrading to 2 ft soon due to more shrimps appearing... but i need black USED ada soil so i won't kill the shrimps( read that new ada soil is not that good for them)

    Thank you

    hi jake
i like your set up, and though i don't know a lot about planted tanks the stem plant looks out of place in your set up, i'm only saying that because my eyes are drawn to that plant more than the setup,
    cheers

There's good depth, but still incomplete. The stemmed plants look out of place because their leaf size is so big compared to the rest.

Stem plants meaning those on the left ???
Should i be removing it or trim it shorter for better effect ?
i agree on the 2 focusing point, out of a sudden you seen rigght side got something " long long".. looks funny.
I kind of like them cos they will "close" their leaves in the night and "open" to receive light in the day time.

Thank you for all the comments

No those on the right, there aren't any stemmed plants on the left, right?

I'd remove it.. but it's frankly up to you!

Jake, since this is a non-CO2 tank, how long it took for the moss to grow to this stage??

The ones in the foreground are brought from a forummer,
The ones on the driftwood need about 1 month, slowly .....
i'm toying with Co2 when this 1.5 ft is decomm and shifting into the 2 ft one.

i just saw at least 5 cherry shrimps INSIDE my Eden filter,feeding...

i find that the moss wall should be a little higher, maybe add another mesh to cover more of the tank background?
