Where to get good Holland Ram. Not those long fin or round body type.
What is the most condusive environment to trigger them to breed. Any one have bred them?

u can try tiong bahru market... often see them there.. another place will be keong seong at havelock and rainbow

Are those from Toh considered Holland Ram? They look very good to me.

dennis, toh mainly have german/blue rams.. but I have seen white rams and holland rams there too

My friend bought some Holland Rams in Tiong Bahru market few days ago. Also, saw some in H20 on last Friday.

Forgive me for asking.... how to tell a Blue ram from a Holland Ram? Would appreciate if someone could post the two photos side by side.

Yes! I've found what I want in AMK163 yesterday.
Those were real big size ones with broad metallic body.
However their conditions not so good thus have to wait a couple of days before they r stabilise.

If I'm not wrong, the price of one type can cost more than the other. I saw price of $2 for normal (i guess malaysia imported ones) and $4 - $6 for so-called Holland Ram. Now, if we can't tell the diff, are we going the pay the diff in price?

I got mine from a Dragon LFS at Hougang Green. This is one of the fish shops I frequent coz it is pretty near my place. Selling for 6 bucks each. Supposed to be Holland Rams I believe.

I used to have 2 beautiful gold rams,but sadly they have passed away. They were really my pride then. But sighs,they were only with me for 4-5 mths.
