There wasn't any collapsing on the 'U' bend but some on the 'elbow'. I think that's logical cos he doesn't have to bend the 'U' as much as the 'elbow'.

Warrior, how come the edge of your tank is not greenish in color? It's very nice ... where did you make your tank?

Me too! use it to connect bubble counter to reactor. I'm currently bending the CO2 tubing and using cable tie to keep it bent... ugly.

Actually, ADA has a glass fixture bend joint glass. Aeon, you probably have seen it at Biotope's planted tank... Price is very decent and acceptable...

Was under the impression that EVERYTHING from ADA was UNacceptable!
From all the pricings i've seen, whoah!
Other then their soil and probably diffusors which are more readily bought not too sure about the rest. Then again..i'm a stingy bugger so all views expressed are of my own.No offence to anyone here!
Anyway, roughly how much damage would the glass fixture bend joints do for fellow bros here who are interested in the item?
    Several red notes?

I believe you can check out shops like Midori or Biotope to enquire on the pricing of the glass wares from ADA.

In addition, I understand from the AQ outing that there is one such U-bend at work in Biotope's planted tank. You can check it out to look at it first hand.

I am also interested in the aquaticmagic lily pipes. However, I believe it cost a lot. Is there an equivalent substitute made of glass or acrylic which can be purchased cheaper.

AquaticMagic sold me, including shipping (from Msia), this package:

    - Flo Lily Pipes
    - III Tools - long bent scissors, Long tweezers, sand flattener

    for S$85

As for joint glass, I saw midori selling this Daz brand beetle bubble counter and it came with a U glass tube like this picture (products looks the same, only brand different).
    I'm back!

    $85 for
    - Flo Lily Pipes
    - III Tools - long bent scissors, Long tweezers, sand flattener
    is cheap.

    Cheaper than KS

Do you need to win the bid to get that price?

Nope I contacted Aquaticmagic directly. Just give an offer to whatever product you want and they'll reply you. No need to go through eBay.
