Red zebras look nothing like low grade CRS... Saw them at Colourful, next to NA... Pretty nice... Just like zebra shrimps, but with red lines...

I'm crypt collecting... Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted!), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted!
), C.tonkinensis(Melted!
), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii
Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...

i'm tempted to get some now![]()

definately not the same species with CRS...i got 20pcs put together with CRS...i think they are closer to cherry...

If I am not wrong, this shrimps very shy. Always hidding, if you don't see it feeding at all. Try keep them separately, it breed direct shrimplets too.
Good luck....

If it is the pic as shown in AF, it was named purple zebra shrimps. Now it has renamed to red zebra shrimps to get some relationship with crystal red shrimp?
Purple Zebra Shrimp is evasive, hardly or never see them come out to feed in open.
It is High order breeding form, so one may have luck to breed them in captivity.
silane

silane, able to disclose more about this particular shrimps? ie; temperature, ph tolerance, how this shrimp came about, able to co-habit with other shrimps....etc![]()

I can only tell you what tank setup is not successfull:
- adasoil tank, PH = 6, 24 to 28C
- baretank, PH about 7, temperature 27C.
- lapis tank, PH about 7.2, temperature 25C
silane

sorry, i don't get what you said, you mean the three setup you mentioned not successful in keeping them? if an established cherry shrimps tank, is it ok? or their living condition are identical to which other shrimps like bee shrimps, crystal red shrimps...etc??![]()
