    How do i tell a green shrimp from a blue shrimp from a malayan shrimp?

    When the color are not so obvious of course

    Ya, i agree. i brought some green & blue shrimp before from NA as they thrown them together...apart from the slight deifferent in coloration, the fetures almost look the same...
    i almost wonder are these 2 of the same species...

    It may not suprised to find them actually belong to the same species. There is a species of green (light) shrimp, that is actually cross of cherry and blue shrimps.

    It is also a practise to split a species of shrimps by color and sell them as different color shrimp.
