Could it be the dreaded Neon Tetra Disease (please search the web for more info)? Thats why I gave up on Neon Tetras... they never seem to last.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
I have 5 neons orginally too. Kept them for half a year
before deforms body start appearing. Some with dark lumps
too. But then my water condition is good though symptons seem to pt to neon tetra. A few of them also has meat lost on their small lip.
But I thought any dieases like "neon tetra" would have appeared long ago. And I decided to just have all of them terminated for fear it spread to other fish.[]
If really calcium only, I think I deserved a BLACK EYE !
I have exactly the same problem mentioned. I believe it to be the awful and deadly NTD. I have scoured the web for solutions but to no avail. Heard that they are incurable. SIGHS!![]()
Neons are beautiful fishes. It's a pity that they are overbred and thus ending up as non-hardy fishes. Imagine when I was a small boy, neons were termed as a "long kau he" or drain fish. Meaning that they are very hardy fishes. But this is not the case these days. Hai.....
