Muriatic acid is one of the treatments that's commonly used in the reading i have done on cement ponds/tanks.(hard to label this one)hahaha...
The next would be marine epoxy paint;also popular where i'm at.

In my area the use of rubber liners is dominant in pond construction; IMO. cement is a better solution; and i was just curious what construction methods are used there.
After all, these pics. come from a bussiness that specializes in the type of construction i'm interested in.THANK YOU!

Wow, can also row row row a boat and cast a fishing line.
It's not just "Step1: Add Water, Step2: Add Fish" If everything else don't work, add plastic plants and fish

In the latest ADA 2006 catalogue "The Style Of ADA", ADA gave a brief description on the filter, lighting (with some natural light) and co2 system of Amano's personal 4m tank. Perhaps, Greenchapter can take a look at the catalogue for reference, but I am sure Greenchapter has more than enough expertise to have already figured and planned all these requirements.

Can't wait to see this giant tank.

There are plenty of surface applied and concrete additive forms of waterproofing available in Singapore that are easily available. Just check with those in construction and they can name you tens of varieties available in the market. We do have many swimming pools and basements, right? Besides asking the sales persons, you can ask for the specifications of their products also.

Very true. The water proofing additives are mixed into the concrete batch. For small qty, it can be done using mech mixer on site.

The crucial part is during the concreting process itself. Need competant workers to complete the job properly. Mixing, compaction, sequence, timing, weather, temperature, etc. . . .its not jus pouring cement and bye bye
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference

THANK YOU; for some reason in the USA it is hard to find information regarding (additives that are fish friendly) used to mix concrete.

There is definately no shortage of "competant workers" here; i'm just trying to find a better alternative to whats available here.

competent workers here seem to be more akin to unicorn than people... You hear about them, you see the signs, but you'll never lay eyes on them
