    Hi,

Need some ideas to catch two of my sick cardinal tetra (suspected with tetra disease ) out of the planted tank.. i been trying to catch those two for the past 1 week .. still no luck..

i have try the follow methods

1.shock method (switch light off n on).
    2. Use net to chase them into the set up net trap.. (end up catching other fishes.. )

    any other ways????

Dont tell me i got to remove the rock n dw in order to catch those 2.

    Thks.

try using 2 nets; one chase and one wait in the water to intercept.

try early morning before the sun comes up (or a few after lights out).
don't turn on your room lights until you are ready.
once you have prepared your nets turn on the aquarium light and go for them.

prepare a pail or tank for the fish you catch.
then you won't have worry about catching other fish.
you can always put them back after you have caught the ones you want.

the possiblility is still very high for catching disease.. take note of other fish inside ur tank within this period of time..

    Hi,

One of my cardinals developed the same symptons as what you have described. It's tail slowly atrophied and I thought that it would be a gonner. However, this little fella somehow managed to survive and has even grown back half a tail. Been about 10 months. Hope that yours will be able to pull through.
