I think we can post ball-park figures for price lah..
422 12mm tank alone (without sump) is about $300+/-.
Plywood cabinet is another $500+/- or so.
Solid wood (chengai) cabinet is about $100+/- more.
Hi....
Was wondering how much does such a setup cost? I am talking about one with a cabinet as well.. Anyone ordered one from Chan before?

Can also try yahoo auction, lots of tanks for sale from time to time. Sometimes can get decent catch. Seasoned tanks some more
I've enquired from Chan before, but finally ordered by tank (4x1.5x1.5) from Coral Reef. Good service and friendly staff. You can ask for clear or black sillicone types. They also will make the hoods if you want. Cabinet too. Look for Christina.
Cheers!!!

bro, any reason why u go for CR tank? cheaper? service better? friendlier?Originally Posted by gsnathan
CR tank is quite cheap and also I find their service is good. But don't expect tank quality to be like bioplast tanks. I've already taken delivery of my tank yesterday and am quite happy with it.
Cheers
Check for silicon 'finger prints'... I had a shock when I find so many of them... It truely is a distraction when I take a closer look at my fish and plants...![]()
Read me! http://justikanz.blogspot.com/
I'm crypt collecting... Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted!), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted!
), C.tonkinensis(Melted!
), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii
Oh, juggling is hard work, man!...
Good point. The silicon may look good from the outside (against the glass) but when look from the top you may find some ups and downs 'terrain' along the silicon. Some of the finger prints/dents may be formed during the moving stage because the tank maker (or you) may want to get the tank out of his factory to your home before the silicon completely cures.
I did find some small little sillicone stains. Used a pen-knife to scrap them off carefully. Is there any chemicals that we can use to clean up these stains?
