There is great potential there ! I can see the Glosso is filling up the foreground nicely.
May be some photo trick to share :
    - remove the thermometer and the fitting before you photo
    - In your second photo there is a little overexposure at the center and it wash put the details in the foreground. You can try experiment the exposure control (your digital cam able to set ?) May be EV try -0.3, -0.7, -1...etc.

    Hi Vitlated,
The tank is looking good, wait for the crypt wendtti to grow 'out' to fill the space in between the tall plants and glosso should settle the scape. You might want to Start trimming the tall plants now before it gets messy, I think maybe after the 3rd trimming, the scape should be ready. Good attempt for a 2nd try.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

Very nice plant health there, but to me the Cyperus helferi/Vallisneria nana's legs seem "wrong" for some reason. I can't put my finger on it though.

Perhaps the plant is too tall. I think Blyxa japonica is better suited for the tank. When the Cyperus helferi in the first/second picture was small plantlets it created depth; it seems there is a path leading to the other side of the tank. However with that plant fully grown the illusion of depth is somehow reduced.

I love this tank. It has a wonderful robust foreground. Vitlated, could you tell us how many gallons it is? And what is your secret in creating that foreground. Is the Hemianthus callitrichoides, glosso and hairgrass mixed in that foreground?

This tank looks uniquely nice. Just that the middle plants (vallisnerias?) seems a bit out of place.

Still, bottom line is that its really nice.
