I am thinking of adding a pair of german rams in my tank

I am currently having the following in a 2.5ft x 1 ft x 1.5ft tank Tank is quite heavily planted (i.e greater than 50% planted )
    - 5 x yamato shrimps
    - 10 x boraras mucalatus
    - 2 x Rineloricaria Sp (Whiptail catfish)
    - Drawf Gourami (not in yet, but thinking of getting them)
    - Cherries Shrimps (not in yet, but thinking of getting them)

Anyone can advise is the rams are compatible in the above setup? will they be too agressive

I am quite worried about the whiptail catfish as they are usually quite inactiver and with their long flowing tails and pectoral fins ... will they be nipped by the Rams ??

Everyone will be safe except for your shrimps...
Witness before simultaneous attacks by a pair of Rams on a Yamato...

Your rams will in fact ignore your worry about the catfish... Even if it wanders into their terroritory (assuming they are not in breeding mood)...
