    erm...

currently housing them in a old 1 ft tank with an oto...but planning to re-house them to a better home.

Water parameters(currently) I did nothing to it, no ada soil, no ketapang...
    -pH is close to neutral
    -kH & GH unknown
    -temp is 28.0-29.0 degree celsius

Diet: Azmi's artifical daphnia mix and occasional live tubifex worms.

The male already displayed strong colouration for a young mac. It is pretty dominant in the tank and keep chasing the female mac.
The female mac was pretty dull in colour when i first got her 2 weeks ago...now after 2 weeks of feeding, she began to develope some colouration similar to the male mac(except for the tail colour).

I think it is not recommended to feed them live tubifex worms as they are easily susceptible to diseases upon eating them

Apistoes are very prone to internal parasites and bacteria... For some weird reasons... And live tubifex worms seems to be the main culprit... I would suggest feeding frozen ones...

Mysis shrimps is a good option... My A. agassizii and checkboards love mysis and brine shrimps...

I saw the location, hence the idea of mixing santerem with alequer apistoes...

But, a santerem red is so expensive!!!

Anyway, back to the topic, Ah Zhan, you might want to try mysis shrimps instead of tubifex worms... Reefers recommend it for healthy vibrant colours in their fishes...

curently i create three ''caves'' from dw+nana petites+ferns+moss scape, as well as a flower pot for the female to hide...

I am thinking of rehousing them to 1 ft cube so maybe slightly more volume of water + space for me to add another ''cave-like'' dw which I had? Or you think I should re-home to 1.5 ft/2ft instead ?

EDIT: Do cut down on the SMS language. Thanks.
