Well I can't seem to keep shrimp in this tank, even though it is heavly planted, the one angel (2.5 inches) seems to eat them all.

What shrimp can me kept in the tank. I have always felt that shrimp are great at keeping plants and moss clean and getting rid of any food or mess left around (like dead fish I don't notice in the back of the tank)

Can i use bigger shrimp? Yamatos ? what?

Or do I just buy a small bag of shrimp every 2 months and add to the tank for angel food???

    hi,

either you get rid of your angels or you just will have to do without shirmps in your tank. Angels whacks every single shirmps. Adults size yamatos might just have a slim chance of survival.

Used to keep a pair of angel fish, don't seems to have luck in keeping shrimps either.

Or do I just buy a small bag of shrimp every 2 months and add to the tank for angel food???

So what do you use instead of shrimp. I have been under the understanding that in a planted tank, shrimp are pretty much necessary to keep things stable.
