I actually use a fan and it is directly over my tank. I use a clip on fan that is 8 inch diameter and it keeps the temp 3 degrees below the room temperature. Even though it is hot here reaching 31-32 degrees outside and the house gets 29-30 degrees at most. What do you use to control the temperature?

I do agree that they are more demanding. I kept them in my shrimp tank and now left only 1 (think from a batch of 7). Even my 2 C grade CRS and green shrimps, both from Hon Kong is ok in this tank.

last thursday, i went to clementi c328 for diamond shrimps. I noticed that a lot of good quality bees ( wild caught ) being mixed with the diamond shrimps which selling at 3 dollars each. But they do worth more dollars though . Suprisingly, i getting S grade diamond at 15 dollars from a pool of shrimps. Fyi, the color of diamond or crs will slowly emerge if they settle down in your tanks ( provided they are good grade ) but initially in LFS, color not as good.

EDIT: Try not to mention prices, thanks.

I have 3 tanks, the sucess rate of breeding bumblebees is at 75%. I even have few of them conceived. Normally i will keep the ph below 7.4, temp should be around 27c because im using cooling fan plus denitrate in my external canister as well as ADA soil.

Unlikely those are diamond, if they are wild caught. Wild caught diamond is very ugly, look like a grade C CRS with black color instead of red. Those nice bee shrimps should be New Bee Type II, even the wild form has very nice color, akin S grade of diamond.

    Hello guys,

I don´t know if shrimps I have are seme that you are talking.

My suppussed 'Bee Shrimp' looks like that and breed right (only problems with heatwaves there, but using a cooling fan you can resolve the problem)

Another ones I had in the pass looks like that
