    hi all,

have anyone tried feeding your cherry shrimps or crystal red shrimps with it? Read from other forum that some shrimp breeder tried and tested with spirulina tablets, showed an improvement to their shrimps appearance, could somehow enhance the redness.

Just checked that Hikari Algae Wafers' ingredients indicated a mixture of spirulina.

will try to get the tablets and feedback on the results. Anyone tried, feel free to comment.

Spirulina is a very nutritious food for fishes:

I read somewhere that it WILL improve the fishes color. Did a test 2 days ago by feeding my fishes with just Spirulina tablets. It seems to be true. My Cardinals' red is VERY red.

    Sera Spirulina Tabs

Aiyo...there are Sera Spirulina Tabs sold in ALL NFS (neighbourhood fish shop). Either you buy the 24 tabs box cost about 4 bucks or the 100 tabs bottle cost about 16 bucks. Been around a long time. Fed both Hikari wafer and Sera tabs and found that my cherries prefer the Sera tabs. Colour does seem to improve but it could also mean I am doing a damn good job on my water parameters.

    Hi,

I'm using the O.S.I. spirulina wafer with satisfying result.

Been looking for spirulina flake for my fish, any bro/sis see it in the lfs?

due to availability problems of other brands at JB I only use OceanFree Spirulina tablets. Its for my corydoras but the shrimps seems to love them alot... they will carry the partially crushed tablet to a corner and slowly munch away.. seems like my CRS has improved colors especially the white lines... its brighter now
