can convert my tank to keep parrot fish?

posted yesterday. i'm keeping my current tank with those small fish like neon, penguin, tetras etc. veri sian liao, neons keep dying ...

can i convert the tank to keep parrot fish? those heart shape parrots? they also lower PH range rite? the tank have small sand like gravel but not crush corals. is this safe?

how many u intended to keep?

cos those fish can get pretty big & grow fast. Usually they will moves the gravel/pebbles(small 1) at a corner. I used to keep them in a tank with drifwood(for them to hide) with 2-3 inches of very fine sand.

they can grow to near a palm size for an adult-i even c bigger 1.

they prefer frozen or live food......

my current tank inside have drift wood and rocks. thinking of adding more driftwood.... ya my tank is 2 1/2 feet by 3 1/2 feet. how can keep how many?

aiya, just say say only lar. of course not whale.........(wat i meant is anything that yur tank can take)

I used to keep 8 adults in my 3footer with a lot of driftwoods. looks a bit cramp.

is yr tank customised?

y not u try 6 juveniles- at first will look very empty cos they r small & always go into hiding.

Once get bigger(adult), yr tank will look just nice with the driftwood.

hi ya my tank is custom made to fix cabinet. i'll get some small ones and try out. ya they actually selling baby parrots. really small like 2cm length only. the LFS owner said it's baby parrot fish. its not red but black and grey in colou pretty much like luo han.
