    Anyone tell me what this is ? It looks frightening. This is the second one I found.

    Can't see clearly, but it is either a dragonfy or damselfly nymph, depending on whether the gills are present at the 'tail' area... Remove as many as you can see... They hunt small fish and shrimps...

    most likely from the plants, unless your tank is outside the house and there are dragonflies ;P, but seriously, you need to remove them ASAP

    put 1 or 2 puffers in there... make sure the size of the puffer is big enough to eat it!

    This thing is like 2 cm, the puffer will be like what 6 to 8cm

    It is larva of dragonfly. I used to find lot of them in my Koi Pond filter and the waterway. Wonder how dragonfly gets to lay eggs in your tank.

    I kept one to see what it grows up to be. Will these larva eat small fish and CRS?

    Dragonfly nymphs are predators and will hunt and eat small preys up to about double their own sizes.

    it's a nymph from either a dragonfly or damselfly and they are a predator than hunt fish as food.

    i suggest remove it, else be constantly worrying whether any of your fuanas in harm.
