The leaf of my fern and especially the base sand was infected with it.

My lighting periold of 8 hrs and 8x36w PL tube. PH abt 6.2 to 6.5 and KH at 3.

So far it is not spreading fast and under control. What should i do to prevent it further?

CO2: keep it stable, higher, and efficient. CO2-enriched water must be circulated around the tank fast. CO2 input must be stable.

Meanwhile clean up the algae don't let it get a hold.

yes, i do a clean up by changing h2o using hose to suck up the area and mostly manual handpick the gavel with bba. I believed that there are some more inside.

my tank works with 2 CO2 on the left and right. Get this extra CO2 from a friend after he give up hobby. recently i notices that my plant-grosso etc bubble alots and i had lower the CO2. this mght cause the bba.

I will keep the CO2 stable. What other measure must take other than mentions above.
Should i add some more new gavel to cover up?

Yes, overturn the gravel so the BBA is buried underneath.

Beside CO2, water circulation also play apart for BBA to appear. Like in my case, near to water surface and the gravel. Saw a big yamoto shrimp eating BBA infested on the gravel, actually the bigger ones had pincers.
