    hi i do not know if i post at the right place if wrong can the mod pls move to the correct one.
    my qns are which ada soil (amazonia ,malaya. arficana) has a effect for the water to have low ph ?
    i want to avoid the low ph soil.
    pls advice

    ADA aquasoil will bring down pH, regardless the types. Tell us more about what are you keeping in your tank? Why do you want to avoid bringing down the pH? What about ADA aquasoil that is desirable for your application?

    All will have low pH due to the peat that is in ADA soil...

    New ADA soil, especially Amazonian, can go as low as 5...
    And according to Style of ADA, there seems to be a difference in the properties of the 3 different soils...

    I'm not sure why folks assume that low pH is an issue.

    Unless you keep rift cichlid fish etc.
    Onyx is good for them.
