It is quite amazing price if it is A. agassizii... This kind of pricing thought will be of A. sp. "Blue Steel"...

Guess some places in the region is mass producing them...

I reakon a $2 agassizii is the result of countless inbreeding by some local farms of LFS which results in a lousy strain.

i recently got a Ap.caca from an lfs.. cost me $15.. but it's quite a nice specimen.. i've seen Agassizii go for $15 too.. but $2 man!

I somewhat agree too, whether is cheap or expensive, I think it is according to individual preference whether a specimen is nice to him or not.....for the same species, one may find a $2 specimen nice while another can find a $200 specimen nice, etc...... right benny?

Beauty in the eyes of the beholder. I guess at $200, some might find the price tag attached to the fish too offensive to look at.

I'll defintely agree with you on that....personally, I would rather go for a reputable source especially for apistos.....somewhat I don't have much liking for farm specimens....rather go for imported ones which are so much nicer!!! hehe
