    Hi all ive recently got a new tank dimensions are as follows:

    5ft long x 2ft high x 1.5ft wide

    and i have bought 2 58w t8 light tubes for this tank do you think that there is enough light to keep the tank planted??? hence plants need light!!!

    for your tank measurement, will be at 112 gallon. Given the lighting you have is about 1wpg. Depends on the plants you intend to keep. best is increase the amount of lights.

    the T8 might not be suitable for your tank, my opinion. might not penetrate well to the depth, can consider using PL or the popular ones T5.
