Phosphate doesn't cause algae, lack of plant growth and poor tank maintainence does.
Can't commment on the sulphate, I don't use it.

1. I am dosing k2po4, does the "P" cause algae problem in tanks?
2. How about the sulphate in MgSo4, is it useful to the plants?

Most of us don't use MgSO4. Its basically Epsom salt which you can easily purchase from Gardian. Its is to balance the Potassium if youhave added alot of it. Most of the time, you will not need it.

how does it balance the Potassium? The so4 change it to potassium sulphate?
Okay.. I think I shouldn't have put that into this thread. Basically it about nutrient competing for uptake. Don't worry too much about it.
