My otos had spawn coincidentally. I've no intention to breed otos. My otos were placed together with my crs breeding tank. However saw only one fry for the first few months and disappear, cause didn't know how to raise the fry.
Has any one had any luck with the above?
After some research, it would seem that OTO breeding occurs at random and it's very hard to condition the tank and the fish to "help them along"..
I also heard that they tend to run "up and down" to release and fertilise eggs ala fire-and-forget.
Any thoughts?
