Would like to see your final setup with the plants at the top. I think a very realistic biotope is going to come out.

Here's the 5' with bio gravel (used where I feel appropriate). I am really more of a 'wood' person, so please pardon my lack of 'aquascapping' per se.

Both are nice scape. I like this more.

some plants tie to the wood will be nice.

You could add lotus and let it grow those floating leaves. Looks natural in my opinion.

I have see both tanks in person. It's a labour of love and I must say that Gecko is a truly dedicated hobbyist. And definitely a catfish aficionado with a wealth of knowledge.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

If you are, or anyone else for the matter, looking for humongous pieces of driftwood. The LFS at no. 43 Sungei Tengah next to the gate (Below farmart) is clearing them at very ridiculously low prices at the moment.

Maybe we can include that place in part of the LCK outing... Since it is in LCK near QH...
