They're a species of freshwater amphipods. They're also called freshwater scuds, Gammarus sp.

It is indeed the Micro Nikkor AF 60mm f/2.8D. Used it in conjunction with 68mm of Kenko tubes. Never tried it with any of the diopters in front such as the 6T since I don't have one around.![]()

Think I saw something like that in my bag of cherry shrimp 1 month ago. Added it together with my shrimps into my endlers tank and never see it again. Not sure if it is still alive in the tank. Hopefully, it will not turn into some monster later![]()

That's where I got the original scud from. Came in with some Aegla crabs and next thing I know there's a dozen of them scurrying around the tank.![]()
