anyone used this combination? 2ft tank with Eheim 2227 and Resun CL-650? I just changed to a Eheim 2028 filter but same 'problem'

I just got the a/m running and the chiller just keep driving the temp. down even when it reaches the preset temp. , the 2227 is rated at 1050/hrs. I notice that the Heater LED will stay on whenever the temp goes below the preset temp, the chiller LED only lite up when temp. is above preset. I have a rainbar at the output hose, will this affect the chiller?

Why are you using a heater and a chiller at the same time?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

    Hi BFG,

nope, I am not using a Heater for the setup. Whenever the temp. goes below the preset the Heater LED will be lit and temp just keeps going down, without the chiller kicking in (Chiller LED not lit).

May I know at what temperature did you set the heater at and at what temperature did you set for the chiller to be activated?

    Hi Benny,

the 2227 can be used w/o the wet/dry action, u just have to closed the air tube, but I have changed to a Eheim 2028 now and still same problem, any comment is much appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi BFG,

the heater cannot be set or can it? once the temp goes below the preset temp it auto supply ac power to the ac socket at the side of chiller ( I did not connect a heater at the socket).
