    Hello reader....

recently, i've bought Hemianthus callitrichoides ''Cuba'', my water condition was all right. 3 days ago, my water turned cloudy. I cleaned my filter, it does not work as well. Does Hemianthus callitrichoides ''Cuba'' produces a kind of chemical which makes the water cloudy?

I attached Hemianthus callitrichoides ''Cuba'' to rocks and a lot of the original soil came out. Initially, my water was clear, no problem. But it suddenly became more cloudy when i cleaned my filter.

reader, please help me if you do have Hemianthus callitrichoides ''Cuba'' or you know what to do to solve this cloudy water. =(

The soil might have something to do with it. Wash the HC clean of the soil, do a 80% water change perhaps?

The possible cause of cloudy water is when filter is cleaned all good bacteria colony was removed.

Yes. Filter cleaning and soil would be the cause of the problem.

It's probably a bacteria boom from the cleaning of your filter. Leave it alone and the water will be clear once again. The more you try now, the worse it will get in the end.

Monitor over the next few days or week or so.

    all right readers...

My tank is now, better than the very first time..
I added another filter... now, i know what happened.. It's really the soil.. soil is the culprit. in the foam of the filter, what was there was all soil...

I will wash it and let it filter for another few days and see what else can i do..
Whole tank is in a mess now.. : /

Thanks a lot a lot for those whom replied to me. grateful. =)
