here's an update on my tank after 5 weeks. sadly my aquarium has developed a leak and i may have to tear everything down any advice on how to go about it while reducing damage to flora and fauna? the only way i can think of is take out all the plant & DW, fishes, drain dry, push substrate away about 4 inches, tilt the aquarium so excess water will collect at opposite side, blow dry exposed area, put extra glass and glue with silicone at leak area, dry for 6 hours and finally and painstakingly redo the whole aquarium.

take it as rescaping your tank, don't be dishearted. By the way, your tank looks very nice with the plants all blending well together.

thanks for your comment. i wouldn't mind 'rescaping' a couple months old tank. but it's only been 5 weeks. most of the plants are matured already and it's kinda sad that i have to unroot them together with the fishes and shrimps.

hmm....maybe i should get a bigger tank instead??
