Hi Jeff, curious why you only want the male?
Anyhow I am keen on females for the species you are planning to purchase. Do let me know what they are.

Benny, there's going to be lots of anticipation and pressure on you to deliver. <don't mind the pun>

By the way, I am curious about the definition of shipping costs quoted by ApistoWorld.
    What's the logistics involved?
Costs is just one minor aspect.. aren' there paperwork involved on the receiver side(which is in Singapore)?
Aren't there necessary clearance and declaration?
Just don't want excited folks including myself to be disappointed if you guys aren't gonna get the fish.

    Hi Yorky

Because i am keeping male apistos in a community tank (rams and apistos).. I do not have the time nor energy to breed apistos. The tank is in my office and thus not so nice to do so much stuff there.

I am definitely not an expert in apistos. cos i just started. but i want to buy from him is

    1. Bita Tefe fauna blue
    2. viejita II
    3. Ap sp mamore

more if i can decipher what the heck is the meaning of those chinese words...

yorky, if you confirm, let's start the ball rolling..
waddzup is helping me with it as he can recognize those fishes.

Jeff, thanks for listing what you are planning to get.
I am keen only on the Viejita II female at this juncture.

I am hesitating until I am convinced on the delivery logistics.

Eric (the guy from apistoworld) told me it's a 2 day delivery. send today, get tommorrow.

Since i am new at this, do you want to check with him?

also, someone told me to check on this as well

    1. age of fish
    2. exact fish picture (not sure whether the web site is the rite picture)
    3. origin.

Honestly, nothing beats going to a shop to pick and choose a good pair or two yourself. I really missed staring at apistos and watching them flare...

As for the information of the fish, I am not sure if there is such a thing as age of fish in the case of wild fish.
At best, its an educated guess.

Anyway, let's hear more details from ApistoWorld about details on delivery.

From the looks of the fish, some of them don't look like wild... More like farm breds from Germany... Which I believe can be obtain from local LFS as well... Think you probably pay the same premium... No?

Hello valice, I've heard that you've caught the apisto bug big time.
    You ordering too?

German imports are always available and you are right, same premium.
Wild fishes are the ones that that are not consistent in size and quality.

I am still a very A. agassizii and A. bitaeniata person... Haven't ventured into other territory yet...

BTW, you want the books? Sorry for pre-empting the order... I can like Mike Wise know to add another set or something...

Gosh.. really lost touch.. yes thanks for your help.
If its not too difficult, please include both the German book and the English translation.

Then you must get both from the Rio Tefe!

I thought they'll pack the fishes into styrofoam boxes, covered with an outer cardboard box and send it here through their local mail service like any other mail parcels? That was how I got my fishes from US, kindly correct me here
