Tefe? discus? if it is then Gan, for Apisto. Tefe, u can call H20, oso for A. agassizii

Gan has some wild Apisto, species unknown or cant verify

hi simon, actually i'm referring to apisto. tefe. Got some wild apisto from gan the other day. any idea how to identify them.any good books to recommend? where else can i get female apisto except for h2o? cheers[:]

there is a couple of books on apisto... if u wanna pictorial kind, then go for Aqualog.. abt $55-60 from petmart.. all pics

from Gan's apisto, very diffcult to id, coz no color and they are still young

so far, not many places have female.. only H20 and Gan

i'm actually quite new to apisto, i'm looking for the female A.agassizii . are there many species of A.agassizii ??? mine looks exactly like the one in aquarealm.com. are there any other lfs selling dwarf chicilds?

not sure how to sex them... but i think females have less colour and you can see the black dot on their black line? If it is.. then petmart and bishan had.... but that was last week.. dunno is still have...
bishan should have.. was there yesterday..

its the overall color during breeding or mating period, as for the black dot, males have them to, jus that we dun usually display it.. next, will be the dorsal fin.. female have a short front dorsal
