Need advice on cannister filter...

Hi all... Can a cannister Filter, which has previously been use in a marine setup for quite some times, be use in a planted aquarium? Any harmful effects?

I dont see why not using back the same cansiter for planted one which been used for marine one.

Just replace new medias and use sponge and wash the cansiter's chamber with water.... your cansiter is ready for operational.

Same apply to chiller which used for marine ...on the tap water and flush out the marine salt for about 1 min...your chiller is now ready to go!

Flush the canister thoroughly and have the media replace. It'll be ok to reuse.
