    Actually its all depend on what kind of apple snail you have. Some apple snail will eat live plant, but some will not.

    But at the moment, my golden apple snail are not suitable for planted tanks because they will eat live plant.

    Snail such as trumpet, ramshorn, trapdoor, nerite are suitable for planted because they will not only DON"T eat live plant, but will also clear off same alga.

    hahaha.. nope.. I took them out for photo taking Then transfer them to their original birthplace (3ft tank) to live with their parents..

    Still have aroundd 30++ smaller apple babies in a 2ft tank.
