    Hi,

My 3ft tank was hit with Green Water for the past 2 weeks after planting blyxa japonica and HC. The blyxa went thru a entire meltdown down till only the stems left. But noticed that new leaves are growing back slowly.

Flora consist of rotala, echi-Red Diamond, echi-paviflorus tropica, bacopa monnieri, coffeefolia, MU, HM, HC, blyxa Japonica, spiky moss.
Fauna consist of 48 cardinal, 19 rummynose, 3 SAE, 4 otos, 2 CoralRed, 11 yamatos.

I was thinking of doing a blackout to remove Green Water and any other algae living in the tank, and would appreciate any advice on this method.

Intend to do a full 3day/2night blackout package, wonder if it is too "costly" for the plants?

if the plants are established then they should be okay
the plants that are not established yet may be in trouble though.

    Update!

    GW is gone.

    But BBA on the rise

After the 3day/2night package, all flora looks weak, faunas all survive, except for 1 that jumped out and end up dried in front of my room
