    Buy:

Potassium nitrate (KNO3) which provides potassium and nitrogen
Potassium phosphate (KH2PO4) which provides potassium and phosphorous

Then go out and buy Seachem Equilibrium and dose enough to raise your water by 1/2 or 1 dgH to provide for calcium and magnesium and a healthy dose of other traces. Also buy a trace mix like Mallick's Lushgro Micros or Seachem's Plant Nutrition (formerly Tropica Master Grow), or Ferka's Aquatilizer.

They are meant to be a compliment of each other, like seachem flourish and seachem trace.

For me, I use ferka aquatilizer which may works like the combination of the two, but more of the latter IMO(I am still researching the truth on this myth ).

    regards,

Yea, Aquatilizer doesn't contain the NPK.

People do use Aqua plus Micros. The combination seems to work fine. I prefer to go mainstream though, so I opted for KNO3 and KH2PO4 so that if I have problems people know how to help me.

I seriously have thought that you need not sell away any of your Ferka fertilizer... You just needed to buy your NPK either in the form of Seachem or Dr Mallick or complement it...
