Request: treatment for torn fins

hi. I recently bought two goldfish and one of them somehow tore a part of its tail fin - not missing a piece but rather a slit in the fin horizontally and the front part of the dorsal fin is a little bent. I don't think that it is ill because i can't see any of the signs mentioned of the various diseases and the water pH levels seem fine. I'm new to this and was wondering if there was a way to treat this. thank you very much much for your help.

For torn fins, you can try to add a little salt to help. In Singapore, most hobbyist prefer to use Melafix, which is proven to speed up healing of torn fins and open wounds.

I've used melafix for torn fins of my fishes...works well in my opinion
