    Hi...everyone...

    1) My tank was set-up on Sunday night (20/. Till last night, the tank water still the same like first night, the water is still not clear and looks very cloudy. Can anyone help?

    2) Anyone know what is the thing on the sand? Is that algae or spider web? Why would this happen to my tank when it's only a 2 day old set-up?

Thank you for your patience with a newbie.

To get proper comments, you need to tell the folks here about what you have in your tank. Examples like size of tank, filtration, light and lighting information will all affect the type of comments you will get. Having said that, it's good that you have learnt to use the gallery to illustration your situation.

    Cheers,

p.s. I've shifted your thread to beginners corner as you might get more help there than in Aquatalk.
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    Hi,

Is it most probably bacterial bloom as your set-up is still in its infancy. The whitish substance should be fungi. Some platies or shrimps would make short work of the fungi.

As what Benny have suggested, it will be good if you can furnish us more of your tank details
