woh, so fast setting up another tank liao.
U got space for it?
i wish i could do soon
No lah. Got a empty 2 feet spare tank that I used for cycling before delivery of my main tank. Too many tempting fishes so might as well set up it up.
Simon, $17 is a good price but is it one of those internal or hang-on type? I've got a air-pump left over from a aromatherapy setup and thinking of using it to drive an air-pump filter or undergravel filter. Comments?
Thanks,
Roy
justjoin, I've got a spare bedroom that I use as a den/study room. Lots of empty space in it and once thought of using it as a fish room. You know - a few racks of shelves and tanks stacked on top of one another and using it for breeding, quarantine-ing and experimenting, etc. etc.
Nay, just a fantasy - no time and no energy to spare []

Since you got space try doing a bigger tank. Easier to set up. Most importantly it's more tolerant to mistakes.
Wow, sherchoo, this 3.5 ft tank of mine is already taking lots of my time! Tweak this, adjust that, measure this, monitor that, etc. All these driving me nuts!----------------

On top of that, keep losing my apistos like it's going out of fashion. In a short span of 2 weeks, bye-bye to around $180 worth of apistos. Well, I'm a virgo and has got a type A personality so tweak this and adjust that even more. Well...
Having said that, I must confess very tempted to get a bigger tank. Simon's 6 ft tank keeps floating in my head []
welll..... 2ft is kinda small. It's quite hard to control the water conditions. Any small adjustment will have quite a large change.
6ft is big, maybe consider a 4ft instead.... if you read any of those aquarium books, most of them (if not all) says that when choosing the size of tank, always go for the largest tank your pocket and afford and the biggest size you can fit in your intended location.
Good Luck
