How much it cost for a Eheim Rubber ring?

You can give petmart or Nature a call to see if they have stock and also the cost. Mention to them it's the eheim 2228 'O' seal. They should know what that means

the O-ring should cost in the range of 20s for 2228/2028.
should be below 25$

no need to buy original 'o' ring .. can buy equivalent at towner road for less than $10/-

i dunno abt other brands by eheim O-rings should last more than 2.5-3 years
i think is reasonable..the price.

the first sign of O-ring fatique is that there are slight signs of leaking when you off the filter. Because once motor is off there is pressure buildup in the canister. so watch out for that

If the thing leaks even when it is on...serious case haha

Guys ! I don't think u can get the " 2228 o-ring " from any other hardware shop coz' the cross-sectional shape of the ring is not 'O', think it's of different shape Well ! I may be wrong ! check it out ! cheers ! []
