    Hi,
    Can anyone advise what can i use to clean my ceramic diffuser with?

    Dump it in a container of diluted bleach for 15 minutes or until the green colour goes off.

    Dump it into another container of water with dechlorinator for 15 minutes. Wash well and put back to tank.

    terence, pardon me on this. Are those 2 solutions that you mentioned, available in LFS? or Hardware stores?
    diluted bleach? sounds familiar..isit those we use for washing clothing?

    Yup. That's the one. It's basically chlorine. Use with care. It burns when concentrated. When done, make sure you clear all traces of residue chlorine with standard chlorine remover from the shop. Even Rid All brand type is fine. Do a test by smelling. If there is still a faint smell, you have not dechlorinated it properly.

    Soaking it in warm water helps. Hyperchlorites (chlorine in bleach) decompose quickly in warm water.
