Willow Moss for moss wall?

Is it ok to use willow moss for a moss wall ? as i asked for christmas moss and got lots of willow instead

Jan, it is alright to have willow for a moss wall. I guess the reason why most folks prefer christmas or taiwan moss for moss walls is that the fronds of these moss will turn out neat and tidy if they grow well.

for what i know, it requires cool water to do well
