if u wanna ensure more survivor then u gotta catch them out and rear them separately.. reduce chances of getting eaten by other fishes or by the parents.. but of coz, there will be chances that the whole batch might die, if u remove them..

u gotta feed them more in order for them to grow faster.. unlike mine, they do grow but at a slower rate and now that i have decided to catch them out (caught abt 1 but there are more inside hiding among the E. sp

the most likely to be eaten is by their parents. THe only other fish in the tank is some OTos to clean my algae thats it so no other carnivourus fish.

Don't really have tht kind of time to feed them and such the only best bet now is to pray hard =(. Wake up at 430 and working till 1830 where got time?? haix...

Just pray hard pound them some pellets hope that will do..any other suggestions?
    Cheers!

Let me recommend my favourite fry food for smaller species :
    JBL Nobil Fluid.
It is great for smaller species.

Your frys should still have the yolk sac attached.
So you will have a few days time to get ready to feed them once they are free swimming.
Go get it now before it is too late

Meanwhile, do not feed anythign to the frys.

Tip: to feed them, use a syringe. (can buy at any pharmacy).
At the needle end of the syringe, insert an air tube (for airpumps). So you will have a syringe that injects out of the air tube.
Fill the syringe up according to brood size (have to try yourself..what is the amt), and inject right into the cloud of frys.
unless your water flow is very strong, you can leave filtration on with this method.

Normally i remove frys on last resort, but thats coz the parents i have are more than capable of taking care of the frys (who want to snatch frys from a jaguar pair? may even end us as food for the parents..who spit it out to feed the frys! )

One shop you can get it is a blk 22 havelock road Keong Seong.
    abt 6$ plus.
can last for more than a brood.

    Go and get it.
The frys need quality nutrition to grow.

Benetay, fishes need privacy also mah.

Maybe u not always in to "peep" on them, then they feel more secure to spawn!!!
