    Hi all,

What is the best or favourite background that we not melt due to insufficient light?

    Many thanks...

Moss wall have always been at the back of my mind.
But if there is some driftwood in front, they may not do well,
as insufficient light. Thought of some crypto/others that can grows well with low light, as they grow slow and need little maintenance...

Any plant to suggest that can do well understand low light??? thanks...

Perhaps you might want to try Balansae crypt?

    can consider Vallisneria nana!

or maybe you can post a picture of your current scape and the tank specifications and the others may feed in more comments on recommending the right plants to you!

they just make the most of everything that comes along their way

    Thanks for the advise...
Do not have a digital camera on hand, sorry not able to post photo...
But using a Trigon 350, Quadrant tank, radius 3 ft, height about 2 ft...
Currently, two DW with Taiwan moss, 2 ft in height and 1.5 ft in width on either side of the flat glass surface. Using Tonina sp as but melt near the root area. Some japanese HG and parva as foreground.
Consider Balansae, tall but a bit untidy looking(IMO)...
Thought of Vallisneria nana as they are thin and tall, very neat looking, spread easily...
Have a tiger lotus in the mid tank but it grow so big that half the view is red. Clearing the lotus very soon...

I will post photo once camera available... Many thanks...

I have a couple of huge drift wood which are tied with taiwan moss, once the moss are mature, you won't need any more background plants.

    Cheers!
