Perhaps to add on a minor comment. I found that at http://www.eheim.de/, they have spare part drawings accompanying the specs for each filter but not at http://www.eheim.com/.
Eg. compare the 2224 at eheim.com and 2224 at eheim.de

I've seen some ppl asking for help with their Eheim's either cos they bought them 2nd-hand w/o manuals or lost the manuals.
Well, did a search and found the Eheim manuals online at Eheim's FAQ (4th Question). Unfortunately, no images.

In case, anyone starts looking for the manuals or FAQ at the .de site, hoping to find the manuals with illustrations, like I did... I found neither the FAQ nor manuals.
However, referring to the spare part illustrations from .de definitely makes the manual easier to read.
