Snails!!

I have a 3ft tank that I decieded to keep cherry shrimps only.

The shrimps population is growing well but the dilemma is that the snails population is growing just as well. The sinking wafers that I feed the shrimps are a treat to the snails as well. The snails are the small circular kind, not sure about the name of the species.

Dwarf puffers will be able to get rid of the snails but not sure if it will feast on the cherry shrimps as well.

Saw a snail trap device product from SERA product brochure. Not sure if if will be effective?

Any good methods to get rid of these snails?
