Native to Bintan, not necessarily endemic. In fact I caught similar ones (although nose not red) north of Bangkok.

Brackish shrimps, but can be kept in freshwater ...similar ones can be found along the coastal from my place all the way to Shanghai. Maybe can be further north but not sure.

It eat up all the hair on frogbit's roots, if you don't give it enough bba to graze on.
