If you can see numbers on them, that would be interesting. Maybe need magnify glass to look closer and also each white and red section might provide enough info for 4-D. I think only those lower grades can do that. Higher grades CRS may not be possible though.

Hahaha! I'd love to see hundreds of shrimp shops popping up all over the place. It'd be quite a joke. And probably not as harmful as the Luohan thing.

I can imagine the imagination of the chinese culture about relating CRS with some auspicious thingy again and we will have to pay through out noses for them. Then we will see alot CRS shop runned by ah bengs who will launder money out, ala luohan craze style. Finally, the coup de grace, the disgraceful dumping of CRS into the canal when it rains, when the fad is gone.

like the luohan craze, those early (to get and get out) will be the winners (financially). Most of the rest will forget the lessons of the luohan craze and other bandwagen trends like bubble-tea.

A saving grace is that the shrimps are not likely to become invasive pests (like cichlids) if people dump them into polluted local waters.

Only bona fide hobbyists who just want to enjoy pretty shrimp in their tanks at affordable prices will be winners when the bubble bursts.

My thoughts exactly jungle. And yes, being a prey species in their own ecosystem the shrimps probably won't harm anything in ours. Even our native shrimp which are more agressive and larger, feed of different things

    GD,
they WILL find a way to get 4D numbers from the shrimps.
i'm just so sure about it!
with the intense red it will probably grow into a feng shui pet too!
    its price point helps too.

and then, macro photographers would probably be able to do side line of CRS photo taking for the owners to "see" the numbers... hahaha...
