finally managed a glimpse amongst the leaves, I think this is a female (uncoloured pelvic fins). starting to fill out the belly finally, eating Tetra flakes.

does netting cover have any effect on blocking the light into the tank?

or use acrylic or glass cover better?
acrylic/glass covers will have water condensation underneath it.
will the water droplets affect the light as well?

yes, but some how they're just like M. erythromicron, even though they eat like pigs the stomach still doesn't bloat.

these guys seems to prefer tetra flakes over ADP, but I saw them sh!tting so that's a good sign ;p

Yah that's a good sign. I throw in tablet food for corys/shrimps they will actually dine in with my bee shrimps.

Eric, doing a species only tank? That would look really really awesome. Please share your setup with us once they have settled down.

Read so much, but still no idea how much is the fish. Can someone please share the rough price range? Is it close to $1, $5, $10?
Has it been spotted in any LFS recently? Haven't seen one before.
    Thanks.

When I was at C328 last Saturday, the price is almost the same as a rummy nose.

Since you have gotten them, would you kindly consider breeding them as well please? Their habitat in the wild is in danger and you could be looking at possible extinction.

    Hi folks,

I been captivated by these little creatures, but i never branch out into any other fish type, been keeping tetras all my life. I already have a 2 footer with tetras, but my recently setup 1 cube tank is empty, now looking for occupants.

How many of these fish can i hold in a 1 cube (running eden501)?

    Are they disease prone?

And are they still under threat?
