I layed a patch of HC (about 12cm x 12cm) in the foreground of the tank and it look like a carpet and not natural.
I have tried to plant strand by strand and believe me it is very tedious and the plant dislodge from the substrade (ADA Black Arizona).
Anyone have a better way to plant the HC ?

Hi there,
Break the HC "cake" into smaller 5 cent coin sized pieces. Spread them through the area you want to cover and use your substrate to weight down the pieces. In time, HC will take root and propagate into a nice lawn, if the conditions are right.
