    Hi guys,

I just finish DIY my old lamp to a 36w philips tube. Is it appropriate for my planted tank? How long must I turn on the lamp? I am doing without CO2.

Can my fish survive under this temperature?

    Hope you guys can help

Turn it on 10 hours daily. Just don't let temperature go into the 30s (degrees).

i read that you need to be careful with the lighting.. because some plants dont do too well with bright light... and of course there is the temperature factor too...

this hobby is tough.. but its fun.... lots of things to learn.. and do.. and buy...
